Influencing factors of postoperative central nervous system complications in patients undergoing cardiac surgeries
Objective:To analyze influencing factors of postoperative central nervous system complications in patients undergoing cardiac surgeries. Methods:The clinical data of 90 patients who underwent cardiac surgeries in this hospital from January 2021 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. According to whether postoperative neurological complications occurred, they were divided into occurrence group and non-occurrence group. The influencing factors of postoperative central nervous system complications in the patients undergoing cardiac surgeries were analyzed. Results:Among the 90 cases of cardiac surgery patients,53 cases occurred postoperative central nervous system complications, accounting for 58.89%. There were no significant differences in gender, body mass index, smoking history, drinking history, combined hypertension, combined diabetes, combined chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, intraoperative blood loss, and intraoperative cardiopulmonary bypass instability between the two groups (P>0.05). There were significant differences in age, stroke history, operation time, postoperative hypoxemia and perioperative atrial fibrillation between the two groups (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that age ≥ 60 years old, history of stroke, postoperative hypoxemia, and perioperative atrial fibrillation were risk factors for postoperative central nervous system complications in the patients undergoing cardiac surgeries (OR>1,P<0.05). Conclusions:Age ≥ 60 years old, history of stroke, postoperative hypoxemia, and perioperative atrial fibrillation are the risk factors for postoperative central nervous system complications in the patients undergoing cardiac surgeries.
