Effects of Epilepsy three needles combined with Compound Aminobutynic acid and Vitamin E capsule in treatment of children with epilepsy
Objective:To observe effects of Epilepsy three needles combined with Compound Aminobutynic acid and Vitamin E capsule in treatment of children with epilepsy. Methods:The clinical data of 80 children with epilepsy admitted to this hospital from June 2020 to March 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. According to different treatment methods,they were divided into control group and observation group,40 cases in each group. Both groups were given conventional drug treatment. On this basis,the control group was treated with Compound Aminobutynic acid and Vitamin E capsule,while the observation group was treated with Epilepsy three needles on the basis of that of the control group. The clinical efficacy,the levels of EEG indexes (epileptic discharge,sleep spindle wave) and serological indexes[interleukin-2 (IL-2),tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α),neuron-specific enolase (NSE),S100β protein]before and after the treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups (P>0.05). After the treatment,the number of epileptic discharges in the two groups was less than that before the treatment,and that in the observation group was less than that in the control group;the number of sleep spindle waves in the two groups was more than that before the treatment,and that in the observation group was more than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After the treatment,the levels of IL-2,TNF-α,NSE and S100β protein in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Further,the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 5.00％ (2/40),which was lower than 20.00％ (8/40) in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions:Epilepsy three needles combined with compound Aminobutynic acid and Vitamin E capsule in the treatment of the children with epilepsy can reduce the the levels of serological indexes and the incidence of adverse reactions,Improve the level of EEG indexes,Moreover,it is superior to simple compound Aminobutynic acid and Vitamin E capsule treatment.
