Application effects of evidence-based standardized rehabilitation nursing in postoperative patients with metacarpal fractures
Objective:To observe application effects of evidence-based standardized rehabilitation nursing in postoperative patients with metacarpal fractures. Methods:A total of 82 patients with metacarpal fractures treated in this hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected for the prospective study. According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group and control group,41 cases in each group. The control group was given routine postoperative nursing, while the study group was given the evidence-based standardized rehabilitation nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The pain degree[visual analogue scale (VAS)]score before and after the nursing, the excellent and good rate of hand function, the incidence of postoperative complications, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After 6 weeks of nursing, the VAS scores of the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, that in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The excellent and good rate of hand function in the study group was 65.85%,which was higher than 43.90% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Further, the nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions:The evidence-based standardized rehabilitation nursing on the basis of the routine nursing can improve the excellent and good rate of hand function and the nursing satisfaction of the postoperative patients with metacarpal fractures, and reduce the scores of pain degree and the incidence of complications. Moreover,it is superior to simple routine nursing.
