Analysis of the effect of warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with conventional therapy on children's dyspeptic diarrhea and the regulation of gastrointestinal hormones
Objective:To study the effect of warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with conventional therapy on children with dyspeptic diarrhea and the regulation of gastrointestinal hormones.Methods:A total of 82 children with dyspeptic diarrhea admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group(41 cases)and study group(41 cases)by random envelope method.The control group was given conventional treatment,and the study group was given warm acupuncture treatment on this basis.The clinical efficacy,duration of clinical symptoms(abdominal pain,diarrhea,abdominal distension),gastrointestinal hormones[MTL,gastrin(GAS),vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP),somatostatin(SS)],gastric motility[frequency of gastric contraction(F),amplitude of gastric contraction(P),gastric emptying rate,motor index(MI)]and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 97.56%,which was higher than 80.49%of the control group(P<0.05).The disappearance time of abdominal pain,diarrhea and distension in the study group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the SS level of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the MTL,GAS and VIP levels were lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the rates of F,P,gastric emptying and MI in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 7.32%(3/41)compared with 4.88%(2/41)in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with conventional therapy can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of children with dyspeptic diarrhea,regulate gastrointestinal hormones and gastric motility,the therapeutic effect is significant,and the safety is high.
