Objective:To Analyze the clinical efficacy of Tibetan medicine Liuwei Nengxiao capsule in improving constipation after cerebral apoplexy in ICU patients.Methods:80 patients with post-cerebral apoplexy constipation treated in our hospital's ICU from January 2020 to December 2021 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 40 patients in each group,The control group was treated with Kaisailu,while the observation group was treated with Tibetan medicine Liuwei Nengxiao capsules on top of the control group,Compare the satisfaction of two groups of constipation patients,the recovery time of bowel sounds,the first defecation time,the first anal exhaust time,the weekly defecation frequency,the total effective rate,satisfaction rate,and the improvement of quality of life score in the observation group.Results:The total satisfaction rate and effective rate of constipation patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),The recovery time,first bowel movement time,and first anal exhaust time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05),The number of bowel movements per week was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the improvement in quality of life score was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tibetan medicine Liuwei Nengxiao Capsule has good clinical efficacy in improving constipation in ICU patients after cerebral apoplexy,shortening the recovery time of postoperative bowel sounds,first bowel movement,and first anal exhaust time,and improving patient satisfaction and quality of life.
