The effect of modified Gualou Niuti Decoction combined with minimally invasive rotary cutting surgery with Maimotong on the TCM syndrome score and serum inflammatory factor levels in patients with mastitis
Objective:To analyze the effect of modified Gualou Niuti decoction combined with Maimotong minimally invasive rotary resection on mastitis, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score and serum inflammatory factor levels. Methods:A total of 100 patients with mastitis admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to August 2023 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group by the random envelope method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Maimotong minimally invasive rotary resection, and the observation group was treated with Gualou Niuti decoction+Maimotong minimally invasive rotary resection. The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score, white blood cell count(WBC),interleukin(IL)-6,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),C-reactive protein(CRP),and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the clinical effect of observation group was 94.00%,which was higher than that of control group 78.00%(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the time of symptom improvement and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with control group,WBC,CRP,TCM syndrome score,IL-6 and TNF-α were lower in observation group after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Modified Gualou Niuti decoction combined with Maimotong minimally invasive rotary resection is safe and effective in the treatment of mastitis, which can reduce TCM syndrome score, relieve clinical symptoms, reduce inflammatory reaction, and promote the recovery of the disease.
