Objective:Based on the method of network pharmacology,to screen the active ingredients of nutmeg, predict its potential anti-tumor targets and screen the related pathways of potential anti-tumor targets, and explore its anti-tumor mechanism. Methods:By consulting a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, sorting out and obtaining the active ingredients of nutmeg, using a variety of databases to predict the relevant targets of the ingredients, and mapping with tumor targets, the potential anti-tumor targets of the active ingredients were obtained.The"compound-gene"network map was constructed with Cystoscope 3.6.1 software to screen key compounds and key targets. Finally, pathway enrichment analysis was performed. Results:A total of 19 active ingredients were screened from nutmeg, and 70 high-frequency targets and 13 signaling pathways related to tumor were screened through network modeling. The results of enrichment analysis showed that these pathways may be the basis for the anti-tumor activity of nutmeg. Conclusion:Through this virtual network screening, nutmeg exerts its anti-tumor effect through multi-component,multi-target and multi-pathway anti-tumor mode, which can provide new ideas and clues for further research on the anti-tumor mechanism of nutmeg.
