This study explores the treatment strategies for early to mid-stage knee osteoarthritis based on the"Patella Mobilization Technique"of meridian-sinew therapy in Zhuang medicine.The"Patella Mobilization Technique"of meridian-sinew therapy in Zhuang medicine includes the triple therapy:identifying pathologic tendon nodules by using Zhuang Medicine's meridian-sinew manipulation,applying fine fire-needle puncture to these nodules,performing cupping therapy to disperse nodules,and the essence of theory about utilizing Zhuang Medicine's meridian-sinew manipulation to mobilize the patella is"treating where it hurts,loosen the tendons and untie the nodules to achieve the tendons softening and bone strengthening".Knee arthralgia bolongs to the category of tendon disease in Zhuang Medicine,the lesions mainly located in meridian and tendons.The treatment strategies about loosen and soften the tendons throughout the entire therapeutic process,the"Patella Mobilization Technique"of meridian-sinew technique in Zhuang medicine is available for the treatment of Knee arthralgia.In particluar,the Zhuang Medicine's manipulation focus on identifying pathologic tendon nodules to determining focal location,using the fine fire-needle points to puncture the tendon nodules and the cupping therapy with the purpose of disperse nodules,The above therapies are often used in combination to achieve the better curative effect.
