Objective:To establish quality control standards for Tibetan medicine and hook rattan.Methods:Referring to the fourth general principles of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2020 Edition),7 batches of Uncaria scandens Hutchins collected from different regions of Tibet were used as the objects,and the inspection items and extracts of Hook Worm were determined.The microscopic features of the herbs were observed under a microscope,and the thin-layer chromatography(TLC)was used to identify the herbs.Results:The microscopic features were obvious and easy to see;The moisture content was 6.9％～10.5％,the average value was 8.7％,the total ash content was 2.35％～2.78％,the average value was 2.48％,the acid insoluble ash content was 0.07％～0.22％,the average value was 0.14％,and the content of dilute ethanol extract by hot soak method was 11.08％～19.04％,and the average value was 14.02％.Conclusion:This study established the quality standard of Tibetan medicinal Uncaria scandens Hutchins,which provided a reference for the quality control of Tibetan medicinal materials and a basic basis for the development and utilization of Tibetan medicinal materials.
