With the development of alcohol culture,the frequency of alcohol intake and alcohol consumption have greatly increased.The incidence of alcoholic liver disease has increased year by year,which has become the second hyperendemic liver disease after viral hepatitis.Zhuang medicine is an important branch of ethnic medicine,with a unique theoretical system and identified clinical effects.Zhuang medicine has a long history in preventing and treating liver diseases,and it has unique advantages in the prevention and treatment of ALD.Zhuang medicine has the characteristics of multiple targets,multiple pathways,safe without side effects.In vitro and in vivo experiments found that the main mechanisms of Zhuang medicine in treating ALD include antioxidant,clearing free radicals,anti-inflammatory,anti-liver-fibrosis,regulating blood lipids,improving liver function,protecting liver tissue and cells,etc.This article analyzed the researches on the treatment of ALD by Zhuang medicine in recent years.And we reviewd the pharmacological effects and potential mechanisms of Zhuang medicine in the prevention and treatment of ALD,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the future treatment of Zhuang medicine in ALD and the development of new medicine.
