The Interaction Between Rural Foundations and the Village Committee in Rural Revitalization and its Ecological Niche Logic:An Inspection of the Public Welfare Organization Ecology in Zhongdong Town of Maoming City,Guangdong Province
With the emerging problems such as rural hollowing out,agricultural marginalization,and atomization of farmers,the rural foundations generated by the sinking of public welfare forces have become a positive factor to promote rural revitalization and sustainable development Taking Zhongdong Town of Maoming City,Guangdong Province as a typical case,this paper analyzes the ecology of rural public welfare foundations,and finds that there is an accommodative interactive picture with both"coping"and"commitment"in the relationship between rural foundations and the village committee,which results in a double effect that is"highly centralized"and"decentralization at any time"with"unified supply"and"differential demand".The accommodative interaction between rural foundations and the village committee can be attributed to the logic of moderate competition in view of ecological niche,which displays a growth pattern in the growth and development of rural public welfare foundations.It also manifests a structural pattern of the hierarchical ecological niche width and niche overlap,as well as functional patterns such as breaking through power"rigidity",dissolving organizational"resource curse",avoiding trust"traps",and preventing the traditional"conceptual dams".Therefore,the study provides policy implications for interactive niche governance between rural foundations and the village committee,so as to provide an effective support in organization ecology for comprehensively promoting the rural revitalization and high-quality development of rural society through maintaining a balanced relationship.
