The Historical Origins and Realistic Values of Excellent Rural Traditional Culture in Building the Cultural Foundation for Rural Revitalization
The rural revitalization strategy must regard rural areas as excellent cultural entities and take rural traditional culture as the cultural basis for rural revitalization.This paper argues that,first of all,the evolution of traditional rural culture over thousands of years indicates that rural traditional culture has long been rooted in the spiritual world of the Chinese people with strong inclusiveness,innovation and tenacity,and still has strong vitality to date.Second,the major carriers of rural traditional culture include agricultural heritage sites,agricultural cultural heritage,agricultural books and proverbs,folk culture,and rural rules and regulations,which play an irreplaceable role in the current rural industrial development,spiritual inheritance,cultural supply,etc.,subtly influencing the Chinese nation's worldview,subsequently affecting individual pursuits,national governance,as well as handling the relationship between man and nature.Third,rural excellent traditional culture not only significantly influences the revitalization of rural culture but also has important implications for revitalizing rural industries,talents,ecology,and organizations.The derived views and ideas,experience and wisdom,discourse system,cultural inspiration,and cultural appeals and institutional traditions are all valuable spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation.
