High-Quality Development in Agricultural Product Processing Industry:Theoretical Framework,Current Characteristics and Path Choices
Enhancing and strengthening the agricultural product processing industry and promoting its high-quality development are not only imperative for revitalizing rural industries,but also crucial for building up China's strength in agriculture.This paper defines the concept of high-quality development in the agricultural product processing industry and proposes an analytical framework suitable for China's context.Based on the monitoring data of 31,384 representative agricultural product processing enterprises from 2020 to 2022,this study reveals the current characteristics of the industry in five dimensions:innovation,coordination,green development,openness,and sharing.Finally,this paper proposes five policy paths for achieving high-quality development in the agricultural product processing industry:fostering new productive forces through innovation-driven initiatives to stimulate high-quality development dynamics;adhering to differentiated strategies to optimize the structure of high-quality development through industrial synergy;advocating for a green production transformation to alter the methods of high-quality development through quality construction;encouraging market openness and cooperation to expand the pattern of high-quality development from an international perspective;and perfecting mechanisms for linking interests to facilitate shared high-quality development outcomes through collaborative farming efforts.This article provides a specific operational path and theoretical basis for the revitalization of rural industries and the construction of an agricultural power,demonstrating the development model of agricultural product processing industry under multi-dimensional synergy.
