Stress-strain Analysis of Geomembrane Core Rockfill Dam Based on Duncan-Chang Model
This study utilizes the secondary development platform in the VC++environment of FLAC3D software to enhance the Duncan-Zhang model and validate its accuracy through numerical simulations of triaxial compression tests.Building upon this,a three-dimensional numerical model of a geomembrane-core rockfill dam(with a maximum height of 78 m)is established to analyze stress-strain behaviors dur-ing construction and reservoir stages. Results indicate that there exists stress concentration at the joint between the core wall base and the concrete foundation, and the stress distribution in the core wall shows an obvious arch effect.Applying the effective stress method confirms that the core wall is below hydraulic fracturing conditions, affirming the stability of the dam under current operational conditions.
