Patient satisfaction with daytime chemotherapy under the whole-process management model
Objective To investigate both the overall satisfaction with medical services and the satisfaction with inpatient experience among tumor patients receiving daytime chemothera-py under the model of whole-process management.Methods The whole-process management model was adopted when tumor patients were treated with daytime chemotherapy and patient satis-faction with hospitalization and inpatient experience were evaluated by professional scales.Re-sults Under the whole-process management model,patients'overall satisfaction with medical services was high,but the satisfaction with inpatient experience was not ideal.About 42.59%and 27.78%of the patients graded'so-so'in the dimensions of emotional communication and communication about illness,respectively.Compared with the traditional management model of chemotherapy,the scoring of"the overall satisfaction with medical services"was significantly higher for daytime chemotherapy.And the scoring in the dimension of"accessible and convenient experience"was significantly higher for daytime chemotherapy than traditional treatment.Conclu-sions The whole-process management model has better clinical effects among tumor patients re-ceiving daytime chemotherapy,which can significantly improve both the overall satisfaction with medical services and satisfaction with inpatient experience.
