Influencing factors for hepatitis B vaccination intention of Chinese residents:A meta analysis
Objective To systematically evaluate the factors influencing the willingness of Chinese resi-dents to be vaccinated against HBV.Methods PubMed,Embase,the Cochrane Library,Web of Science,CNKI,WanFang Data and VIP databases were searched for literature on factors influencing the intention to receive hepatitis B vaccination among Chinese residents published from 2012 to January 31,2023,and the quality of the included literature was assessed and meta-analysis was performed by R4.2.1 software.Results A total of 11 lit-erature were included,involving 37 222 subjects.The results of the meta-analysis demonstrated that the conven-ience of vaccination setting[OR=1.60,95%CI(1.46,1.75)],knowledge of hepatitis B[OR=1.97,95%CI(1.80,2.15)],marital status[OR=0.75,95%CI(0.69,0.82)],getting health insurance or not[OR=1.47,95%CI(1.02,2.12)]and place of residence[OR=1.26,95%CI(1.02,1.55)]were the factors influ-encing the intention to receive HBV vaccine.Conclusions In order to encourage Chinese residents to be vacci-nated against hepatitis B,a more convenient vaccination environment should be provided,health knowledge about hepatitis B should be popularized in an easy-to-understand way,the cost of vaccination for hepatitis B vaccine should be reduced,and the relevant subsidies should be increased.
