The dilemma and path of building a compact medical community in urban and rural areas
In contrast to the operational characteristics of shared responsibility, collaborative manage-ment,service interoperability, and benefit sharing in urban and rural compact medical communities, the current construction of compact medical communities still faces practical difficulties, such as the coexistence of expansion of medical demand and the loose entities of service supply, participation of multiple entities and insufficient super-vision and management mechanisms, health expectations of the public and inferior quality of service supply,as well as the supply of new healthcare services and shortage of internal coordination mechanisms. It is necessary to optimize the paths from the aspects of institutional improvement, supervision and management, service improve-ment,and internal control.
