Effects of arbuscular mycorrhiza(AM)fungus Funneliformis mosseae on the growth of young trifo-liate orange(Poncirus trifoliata L.Raf.),mycorrhizal infection, hyphal length, soil glomalin-related soil pro-tein(GRSP)content and soil structure were studied in greenhouse. The influence of the intercropped grass mowing and AM fungus on the growth of young trifoliate orange and stylo(Stylosanthes guianensias SW),mycorrhizal infection,GRSP and soil structure were also studied. Results showed that AM fungus inoculation significantly promoted the growth of trifoliate orange, increased GRSP concentration and improved soil struc-ture.There was no significant difference in the growth of trifoliate orange, mycorrhizal infection,GRSP con-centration and soil structure between stylo mowing and non-mowing treatments, but the hyphal length of AM fungi in stylo non-mowing treatment increased by 2.5 times compared to the mowing treatment.Correlation a-nalysis showed that macroaggregates in rhizosphere soil were significantly positively correlated with mycorrhi-zal infection rate, soil GRSP content and hyphal length, while stylo mowing affected the hyphal length of arbus-cular mycorrhizal fungi, which may adversely affect the soil structure.
