Residue behavior and dietary risk assessment of picoxystrobin in banana
Picoxystrobin is commonly used in banana production, which is a potential risk to consumer's health. To evaluate the dietary risk of picoxystrobin, residue behavior of picoxystrobin in banana was studied through experiment on the dissipation dynamics and residue of picoxystrobin in banana in Hainan and Yunnan Provinces.Residues of picoxystrobin in bananas harvested at different time after application of picoxystrobin was tested, and the dietary risk quotient(RQ)was calculated. The results showed that in the range of 0.02-1.0 mg/kg,the average recoveries of picoxystrobin in banana was 101.4%-109.2%,with the RSD of 2.1%-4.0%,the minimum detectable amount of 0.01 μg and the minimum detected concentration of 0.02 mg/kg.The degradation of picoxystrobin in banana conformed to the first-order degradation kinetic equation, with the half-life of 7.7-13.9 d.The maximal final residue was 0.045 mg/kg.The degradation rate of picoxystrobin in banana was more than 99.62%after 60 days of application. The NEDI of picoxystrobin for ordinary adult in China is 0.35 mg,and the RQ is 0.06,which is far less than 1.The residual levels of picoxystrobin in bananas did not pose a dietary risk to general adults.
