Propagation by cutting is a key technique in strawberry breeding.To solve the problems of shortage of strawberry nursery resource,year by year increased diseases and insect pests of conventional open field breeding and the low survival rate of seedlings after planting,facility substrate breeding of strawberry was car-ried out in Jiande City of Zhejiang Province from 2019 to 2020.Cutting breeding techniques of facility substrate breeding was summarized to provide technical reference for future large-scale facility substrate breeding of strawberry.
