Analysis of comprehensive comparative advantages of main citrus producing areas in Yuxi
Aiming at the problems of citrus industry in Yuxi,Yunnan province,such as too many varieties,miscellaneous and unorganized structure of cultivars,quality declining,and unreasonable regional distribution of the industry,which led to seasonal surplus of citrus fruits and difficulty to sell.The citrus industry of each main producing regions in Yuxi was studied by comparative advantage index analysis based on investigating the environmental conditions of citrus planting,and the characteristics,stress resistance and production benefits of citrus cultivars in the main production areas of Yuxi,Yunnan Province.The results showed that Miyamoto wase,Ooura wase,Okitsu wase,Bingtang orange and Orah,the main citrus varieties planted in Yuxi,had strong stress resistance and high yield,and they matured earlier than the same varieties planted in other re-gions of China,which was in better position to occupy the market to achieve higher economic benefit.Huaning county and Xinping county were the dominant citrus producing areas in Yuxi,Yuanjiang county had the poten-tial to become the a dominant citrus producing region,and Yimen,Eshan Tonghai and Chengjiang counties were the general producing areas.Combined with the actual situation of citrus industry development,the structure and regional layout of citrus varieties in Yuxi were proposed.
