Research progress on endophytic fungi of Siraitia grosvenorii
Endophytic fungi is an important microbial community in the process of plant growth and develop-ment,which can establish symbiotic relationships with the host plant and produce secondary metabolites same or similar to the host.It plays a prominent role in maintaining plant homeostasis and enhancing host defense.Siraitia grosvenorii has been cultivated and domesticated for a long time with a rich group of endophytic fungi,some of which have participated in the transformation and functional activity process of S.grosvenorii metabo-lites.The study of S.grosvenorii endophytic fungi has important reference value for developing new drugs and promoting the renewal of S.grosvenorii resources.Therefore,the technologies for isolation and identification of endophytic fungi from S.grosvenorii,the diversity of endophytic fungi and the active function of their me-tabolites were summarized,and the future research trend of endophytic fungi in S.grosvenorii was speculated to provide theoretical basis for the in-depth study of endophytic fungi of S.grosvenorii.
