Diversity and faunal characteristics of moths in jackfruit orchards in Yunnan Province
To explore the diversity and faunal characteristics of moths in jackfruit orchards in Honghe River Basin,Yunnan Province,moths in jackfruit orchards in Honghe River Basin in Honghe City were trapped by fixed point lighting.The faunal characteristics of the moths were analyzed by a diversity index combined with zoogeographical zoning of China and the world.The results showed that a total of 57 species of moths belonging to 10 families were trapped,and the dominant population was Theretra nessus(dominance of 7.23%),Asota caricae(5.58%),Hippotion rafflesi(5.18%),Creatonotos transiens(4.35%),Asota plaginota(4.29%),Spilosoma menthastri(4.25%)and Parum colligate(4.23%).The Shannon-Wiener diversity index was as follow:Summer>Autumn>Spring>Winter,and the Margale richness index was Summer>Autumn>Spring>Winter,with the Pielou evenness index sequence of summer>Autumn>Spring>Winter,all in the same variation trend.The Jaccard similarity index of moth communities in different seasons was moderate or extremely similar.The analysis of the world zoogeographical flora showed that moths in jackfruit orchards of Honghe River Basin in Yunnan were mainly distributed in the Oriental and Palaearctic regions,and the 42 most common species were found in the Oriental and Palaearctic regions,with the highest proportion in the Eastern and Paleozoic regions.The analysis of China zoogeographical flora showed that moths in this area are distributed in 7 zoogeographical divisions in China,with the South China,Southwest,and Central China regions being the main distribution areas.The highest proportion of cross regional distributed species was found in the Southwest region,Central China region,and South China region,with 24 species.
