Citrus yellow vein clearing virus(CYVCV),a rapidly spread novel viral disease domestically and internationally in recent years,infects multiple citrus species.Among them,Citrus limon and C.aurantium are highly susceptible,resulting in substantial losses of the production.This paper systematically reviewed the research progress on CYVCV,with a focus on its occurrence and distribution,the functions and characteristics of the pathogen's genome,detection techniques,transmission routes,and molecular variations,to provide a reference for further research and the prevention and control of CYVCV.
