Present situation and development suggestions of grape and wine production in Guangxi
Guangxi is an important emerging grape production region in southern China.Since 2003,through the introduction,absorption,improvement,and promotion of two-crop-a-year grape cultivation technology,the grape industry in the local and surrounding provinces was rapidly developed.However,this development has also brought great challenges to the grape industry in Guangxi.Moreover,the industry itself has faced va-rious issues,resulting in a slight decline in the grape planting area in recent years.Currently,the grape indus-try in Guangxi is at a critical stage towards achieving a target of ten billion income fruit.Through investigation of the primary grape-growing areas and wine-making processing companies,collecting scientific research and production information,referring the statistical data of grape production in past 15 years,and analyzing these information and data,the overall situation of production,processing and sales of grape and wine industry in Guangxi was clarified.The main problems existing in Guangxi grape industry were analyzed,the correspond-ing development countermeasures were put forward in combination with the actual situation to promote the high-quality development of Guangxi grape and wine industry.
