Study on the willingness of organic connection between small-scale farmers and new agricultural management entities:Based on the survey of Linzhou City,Henan Province
Giving full play to the leading,demonstration and driving role of the new agricultural management entites to small-scale farmers is an effective measure to break the"smallholder dilemma"and promote the connection of small-scale farmers with modern agriculture.Based on the micro-survey data of 444 farmers in Linzhou City,Henan Province,this study used the Logistic regression model to carry out empirical research on the influencing factors of the willingness of small-scale farmers to choose connection objects and willingness to continue the connection.The results showed that the main factors affecting the willingness of smallholder farmers to choose connection objects were the age of farmers,the years of education of farmers,the years of migrant workers,the share of agricultural income,the types of agricultural products,agricultural technical services,the degree of agricultural product branding,and the degree of policy publicity.The variables such as farmers'migrant work experience,agricultural technical services,agreement of connection content,mechanization input,and income satisfaction had significant positive impacts on the willingness of small-scale farmers to continue the connection.In order to promote more efficient connections between small-scale farmers and new agricultural management entities,the willingness of small-scale farmers to connect should be respected,and they should be encouraged to choose the objects and methods of connection according to local and time conditions.It should guide small-scale farmers and new agricultural management entities to give play to their respective advantages in connecting them,developing production,and facing the market.It should foster a new type of professional farmers and create conditions to encourage small-scale farmers to achieve independent transformation and development.
