Empirical analysis on the contribution rate of agricultural mechanization to farmers'income increase in China
In the context of agricultural modernization and rural revitalization,it is of great practical significance to explore the relationship between agricultural mechanization and farmers'income increase in China.Based on the relevant statistical data from 2000 to 2020 in China, this paper calculates the contribution rate of agricultural mechanization to farmers'income increase by using the gray correlation analysis method and the improved Cobb Douglas production function and other methods.Research results has found that there is a close relationship between various factors and farmers'income, with the strongest correlation between the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, and the total power of agricultural machinery and farmers'income. The total power of agricultural machinery, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fisheries and the irrigation area of farmland are positively correlated with farmers'income, while the use of pesticides is negatively correlated with farmers'income. The comprehensive contribution rate of agricultural mechanization to farmers'income in China from 2000 to 2020 was 6.28%.The development level of agricultural mechanization in China is lower than that of other developed countries, and there are significant differences in the development level of agricultural mechanization among different regions in China.Based on the research results,it is recommended to reasonably strengthen the allocation of various factors, promote the development of mechanization in various regions according to local conditions, and draw on the experience of foreign agricultural machinery development.
