Optimization of pea seed hardness measurement method based on indentation loading curve
In order to determine the best combination of operation parameters for the determination of pea grain hardness based on indentation loading curve,a three-factor and three-level orthogonal test was designed according to the principle of orthogonal design, taking pea as the research object, with pressing depth, indenter type and surface roughness to be measured as independent variables and pea hardness measured as response value. The data processing software Design-Exporter was used for range analysis and variance analysis to explore each factor, and the finite element method was used to verify the experimental research results. The results showed that the best operating parameters in the measurement process were the pressing depth of 0.5 mm,the type of indenter was 45° triangular pyramid, and the surface roughness of the grain to be measured was 100 mesh. The finite element method is consistent with the actual test results, that is,the average error of 45° triangular pyramid indenter is the smallest.
