Measurement of blade angle in rice based on image processing
Rice blade angle is of great significance for the breeding of ideal plant type of rice.In order to achieve real-time and accurate measurement of the angle between rice sword leaves in the field,image processing techniques such as color space conversion,skeleton extraction,Hough line extraction,and K-means clustering were used to design a rice sword leaf angle measurement algorithm.The algorithm was placed on a server and combined with a background board and a mobile application to achieve real-time measurement of the angle between rice sword leaves.By using this algorithm,160 samples of rice with grains were measured in the field for the angle between the sword leaves,and the data obtained by the algorithm was compared with the manually measured data.The results show that the proposed algorithm is in high agreement with the manual measurement results,the coefficient of determination is 0.999 6,the average absolute error is 0.32°.It can achieve accurate measurement of blade angle of rice in the field.
