Government guidance,comparative benefits and farmers' willingness to adopt green planting technology:Survey evidence from Jianghan Plain
In order to explore how government guidance and comparative benefits to affect farmers' willingness to adopt green planting technology,based on the empirical analysis of the impact of government guidance and comparative benefits on farmers'willingness to adopt green planting technology by using the ordered Logit model,the ordered Probit model and OLS estimation were used to replace the benchmark model for robust estimation,and to examine the interaction of government publicity,government supervision and comparative income on farmers' willingness to adopt green planting technology.The results showed that both government guidance and comparative income had a positive effect on farmers' willingness to adopt green planting technology,and political identity and the rule of integrated pest control played a part of intermediary role.The interaction effect of government publicity,government supervision and comparative income also significantly promoted farmers' willingness to adopt green planting technology.Therefore,the suggestions to improve farmers' willingness to adopt green planting technology are put forward as follows:strengthening the government's propaganda and guidance,building a diversified and orderly government incentive and guidance mechanism,improving the comparative benefits of green planting of farmers,and improving the long-term compensation mechanism for green planting technology adoption,connecting the propaganda and guidance path between the government and farmers,and focusing on giving play to the exemplary role of party members and village cadres,strengthening the publicity and guidance of the technical services of integrated pest control and prevention,and stimulating the adoption of green planting technologies,and also strengthening government oversight and law enforcement.
