Experiment and study on operation quality and effect of soybean and corn strip composite planting integrated seeder
The operation results of seeder are of decisive significance to improve seeding quality of soybean and corn strip composite planting and ensure crop yield. This experiment adopted a two-factor split-plot design with a 4:2 composite planting pattern,by using a integrated seeder with the spoon-wheel seeding apparatus and another with the air-suction seeding apparatus, respectively,at speeds of 5 km/h,7 km/h,and 9 km/h for seeding operations.Parameters such as seeding period, emergence period, maturity period, and harvest period were compared,as well as the cost-effectiveness and economic index of the two kinds of seeders,to conduct exploratory evaluation of the quality and effect of the two kinds of seeders. The quality and effectiveness of the two kinds of seeders were evaluated. The results showed that the spoon-wheel seeder had the best seedling quality, ripening effect and yield at 5 km/h and the air-suction seeder at 9 km/h.The spoon-wheel seeder was suitable for low speed operation, and the air-suction seeder for high speed operation.Under the optimal operation speed, the difference between the two models in harvest yield was not significant. The air-suction seeder was superior to the spoon-wheel seeder in economic index of efficiency, quality of emergence, maturity and harvest yield, while it was inferior in economic index of yield and the ratio of output to investment of machinery. Therefore,it can provide reference and support for optimizing integrated seeder according to planting scale and adopting suitable working speed to improve working quality and effect.
