Design and test of duck mouth spray device of multi duct spray machine
In order to improve the penetration of spray droplets and the stability of air speed at the air outlet,a duck shaped spray device combined with a nozzle and an air delivery device was designed.The air flow at the duckbill shaped outlet atomizes the droplets generated by the nozzle for the second time.The air flow carries the droplets to the fruit tree canopy,expanding the width of the spray,so that the liquid flow from the nozzle and the wind field blown by the fan form a fixed combination form.A four factor and three level orthogonal experiment was designed,CFD simulation experiments was carried out on duckbill shaped air vents by using Fluent discrete phase method,and UDF was used to compile code to make the air velocity of the air vents change over time.Based on the analysis of simulation test data,the optimal combination of spray parameters was obtained by response surface optimization method as follows:the number of nozzles was 2,the installation angle of nozzles was 31.9°,the installation position of nozzles was inside the air outlet,and the opening angle of the air outlet was 67.5°.Under the combination of these spray parameters,the verification test was carried out on the duckbill shaped air outlet.The air velocity at the air outlet was uniform,the dispersion rate was not more than 5%,and the droplet deposition density in the fruit tree bore was more than 70 particles/cm2,with good medication application.The coverage rate of droplet deposition was greater than 33%,and the droplet penetration was good.
