Present situation and influencing factors of sexual dysfunction in male patients undergoing hemodialysis
Objective To investigate present situation and influencing factors of sexual dysfunction in male hemodialysis patients,and obtain evidence for improving the quality of life of male hemodialysis patients.Methods A total of 102 male patients receiving regular maintenance hemodialysis treatment in our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects,and the General Information Questionnaire,Hamilton Depression Scale and International Erectile Function Index 5 were applied as the investigation tools.Univariate analysis and ordered Logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of erectile function index in male hemodialysis patients.Results There were 7 patients with normal erectile function,25 with mild dysfunction,16 with moderate dysfunction and 54 with severe dysfunction.Analysis of age,serum creatinine,serum uric acid and depression index among the patients with different degrees of erectile dysfunction demonstrated obviously statistical differences(P＜0.05).Ordered Logistic regression analysis showed that depression index(OR=1.39),age(OR=1.14),education level(OR=7.29),sleep time(OR=32.84)and working status(OR=0.08)were the influencing factors of erectile dysfunction in male hemodialysis patients(P＜0.05).Conclusion The incidence of erectile dysfunction in male hemodialysis patients is higher,and most of them are moderate and severe.Depression,age,education level,sleep time and working status are independent influencing factors of erectile dysfunction.Clinical measures should be taken to reduce the incidence of depression,age,education level,sleep time and other factors to improve the quality of life of patients.
