The influence of psychological nursing intervention model on mental psychological stress in male infertility patients with varicocele
Objective To discuss and summarize the effects of psychological nursing intervention model on mental psychological stress in male infertility patients with varicocele(VC).Methods Total of 80 male infertility patients with VC from December 2020 to June 2021 were enrolled in the study and their clinical data were collected.They were randomly divided into two groups including the psychological care intervention group and the usual care group(40 cases in each group).A questionnaire survey on mental and psychological stress(including anxiety self-rating scale,depression self-rating scale and fertility stress scale)was conducted among all the patients at admission and 1 month after surgery.Results The anxiety and depression symptoms of the patients in the psychological care intervention group were significantly improved compared with those of the patients in the usual care group(P<0.05).Moreover,compared with those of the conventional nursing group,the total score of fertility stress,sexual relationship concern,relationship concern and trade-off of lifestyle of childless children in the psychological nursing intervention group were all prominently ameliorated(P<0.05).Conclusion Psychological nursing intervention model can improve the anxiety and depression in male infertility patients with VC.
