Progress in the application of systems biology in prostate cancer
Prostate cancer is a common malignant tumor with high incidence in men,and its main pathological feature is heterogeneity,involving a complex process of multi-factors and multi-stages.At present,systems biology has been widely used in the study of prostate cance,rincluding current popular topic such as new tumor markers and new therapeutic targets,moreover systems biology has also great development potential in pathogenesis explore,early diagnosis,differential diagnosis,staging and prognosis assessment,which is benefit to the precise individual diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer.In this article,we summarize and discuss omics studies of system biology on prostate cancer for providing guidance for future research of it.
