From April to August 1952,the delegation of Chinese farmers'representatives visited the So-viet Union for four months.During the period,the visiting group visited the cities and villages of the Soviet Union,deeply understood and learned the agricultural technology and experience of the Soviet Union,espe-cially the experience of collectivization of the Soviet Union's agriculture,and experienced the real life of the Soviet farmers.After returning to China,they promoted the agricultural technology of the Soviet Union,widely spread their experience and feelings of the visit to the Soviet Union,changed the Chinese farmers'un-derstanding of socialism,stimulated their enthusiasm to learn from the Soviet Union's path of socialism,vig-orously promoted the process of agricultural collectivization,and at the same time deepened the friendship between the two nations.
