Study on Progress and Countermeasures of Low-carbon Transition of China's Electricity Supply
CO2 emissions from the power generation sector account for about 40%of China's total CO2 emissions.Decarbonization in power generation is crucial to obtaining China's"carbon peaking and neutral"goal and is a systematic transformation. This study, guided by systems thinking, clarifies the factors related to the low-carbon transformation of the power supply. It proposes a logical framework for the low-carbon transformation of the power supply, consisting of three modules:the feedback indicator, the core of power supply, and the support system.Based on this framework, the progress and main challenges of low-carbon development in China's power supply are investigated.Building upon this foundation, policy recommendations are put forward from the following aspects:core elements, coordinated development, and demand.
