Predicament and suggestions of the export trade development of China's wine
Actively promoting China's wine"going out"is of great significance for realizing the transformation and upgrading of the domestic wine in-dustry.The trade scale,market structure,average export price,international competiveness and so on of China's wine export trade during 2001-2022 were analyzed by using statistics from UN Comtrade and combining the method of relative trade index.It is found that China's wine export trade had some problems such as small overall scale,lack of stability in development,relatively low ranking in the world wine export trade,insufficient expan-sion of the international market,unreasonable distribution of regional structure,high average export price and weak international competitiveness.The results showed that firstly,China should accelerate promoting the supply-side structural reform of the domestic wine industry,enlarge its export scale,align its standard with the international standard of products,improve the product quality,implement the brand strategy and foster new compet-itive advantages.Secondly,China should expand international markets,optimize the regional structure pattern,and enhance the ability to resist the in-ternational risk to better maintain export interests.Thirdly,China should improve policies in regard to promoting the wine export,and innovate ways of trade cooperation so as to realize the high-quality and sustainable development of China's wine export trade.
