The Spatiotemporal Heterogeneity of Syphilis at Different Stages in Nanning Prefecture During 2008 to 2013
Objective To explore the spatiotemporal heterogeneity of syphilis at different stages in Nanning prefecture during 2008 to 2013,so as to provide scientific evidence for decision-making of syphilis.Method The notified cases of syphilis were extracted from the national system of infectious diseases.And the thematic maps of syphilis incidence at different stage were drawn through Arc GIS 10.0 at the country level.Results The hot spots of primary syphilis happened in Mashan County during 2008 to 2012,secondary syphilis and tertiary syphilis happened in some urban areas during 2008 to 2013,congenital syphilis happened in Shanglin County during 2008 to 2012,and latent syphilis happened in Mashan and Shanglin County during 2008 to 2009.However,the hot spots of all the syphilis were transferred to Jiangnan district from 2013.Conclusion The hot spots of the primary syphilis,congenital syphilis and latent syphilis happened in rural areas.However,the secondary syphilis and tertiary syphilis happened in urban areas.According to the spatiotemporal patterns of syphilis at different stage,specific measures will be made to control syphilis.
