Dermatoscopic Characteristics and Differential Analysis of Monkeypox:Four Cases Reports
This article analyzed the dermatoscopic characteristics of 4 patients with monkeypox and dermatoscopic differential diagnosis from other misdiagnosed diseases in clinical practice.Dermatoscopic characteristics of monkeypox were specific,mainly including yellow structureless areas,clear white halo around the border,and pink-red gobbet in 2 patients.For clinicians,pink-red gobbet on skin lesions revealed by the dermatoscope were highly suggestive of monkeypox.It is essential for patients to be transferred to a designated hospital for monkeypox virus nucleic acid testing and treatment.
