Traditional patterns are rich in content and exquisitely decorated,and are treasures of traditional Chi-nese culture,with high artistic and aesthetic value and application value.From the perspective of design,modern de-sign methods are applied to deeply analyze the typical characteristics of traditional patterns,carry out reconstruction and design re-engineering,and generate a series of innovative solutions for leather products.In the design process,these leather products not only meet modern aesthetic standards,but also integrate national characteristics and cultural connotations,making the products have a dual charm of fashion and culture.This article studied the connotation of traditional Chinese patterns,analyzed the design strategies of integrating modern leather products with traditional pat-terns,and listed practical cases of integrating traditional pattern design.This provides references for the integration and development of traditional patterns and modern leather products,promoting the integration and development of tra-dition and modernity,patterns and fashion.
