A Study on Yang Xianjiang's Thought of Labor Education
Yang Xianjiang drew on Marxist theory to discuss the status and role of labor education from the perspective of the essence and importance of labor education to the development of Chinese society and revolutionary cause,empha-sizing the role and status of labor and advocating the value of"labor is sacred";he actively explored the important function as the cultivation of"The Whole Hu-man Beings"through the in-depth study of labor education;he claimed that edu-cation should be closely combined with"social life process"and"material pro-duction relations",and labor education should be integrated into the whole edu-cation system.At present,we should:Take"Dignity of Labor"as the basis of la-bor education and consider the core value orientation of quasi-labor education;carry out labor education into the whole educational system to promote the all-round development of the young generation;and strengthen research on the unique value of labor education as well as highlight the characteristics of labor spirit in the New Era.
