During the period of the Republic of China,with the promotion of foreign educational exchanges and the rise of postgraduate education,China suc-cessively launched postgraduate exchange projects with the United States,Germany,India,France,etc.The two sides dispatched postgraduate students to each other,opening up a new path for high-level personnel training.The exchange of graduate students between China and foreign countries at that time presented some distinct characteristics:The expansion of the scale of participation,the diver-sification of participation subjects,and the standardization of policy mechanisms.During the period of the Republic of China,the exchange of graduate students be-tween China and foreign countries has explored a new way of internationalization of graduate education,cultivated a number of high-level talents,and promoted the exchange and dissemination of Chinese and foreign academic culture.
