Features,Influencing Factors, and Development Trends of Mental Health Problems among Elementary School Teachers
Elementary school teachers bear key responsibilities in the early stages of compulsory education, making the understanding of their mental health status of crucial importance. This study employed cross-temporal meta-analysis,linear regression models, and autoregressive integrated moving average models to systematically explore the features and influencing factors of elementary school teachers'mental health issues from 1998 to 2020,and predicted their future trends. The findings revealed that:① The overall mental health problems among elementary school teachers showed a slight downward trend and exhibited differ-ences based on gender and region;② Macro factors such as education(number of elementary schools, number of teachers),economy(RMB exchange rate),social population(natural growth rate),and internet technology(number of in-ternet users and number of National Science and Technology Progress Awards)had a certain impact on the mental health problems of elementary school teachers;③ Based on past changes,it was predicted that mental health problems among elementary school teachers were likely to remain at a relatively high level over the next five years.Future mental health research should clarify the changing process and features of elementary school teachers'mental health and develop tar-geted intervention programs.Mental health services should focus on the macro factors influencing mental health and build a multi-dimensional and multi-level service system.Mental health policies should be proactive, anticipating the devel-opment trends of mental health issues and corresponding strategies.
