Professional Identity of Interdisciplinary Doctoral Students and Its Influencing Factors
This study aimed to investigate the current situation and anteced-ents of professional identity of interdisciplinary doctoral students by comparing them with non-interdisciplinary doctoral students. Results showed that compared with non-interdisciplinary doctoral students, interdisciplinary doctoral students had relatively lower professional identity and differed in mentoring style,confer-ence presentation, and research achievements;interdisciplinary doctoral students were significantly influenced by factors such as curriculum system, family support, conference reporting, publication of more than two research achieve-ments,in addition to common factors such as their own professional foundation and internal motivation to pursue doctoral studies. In this regard, universities should strengthen the investigation of interdisciplinary doctoral students'profes-sional foundation and internal motivation in the selection process and create a supportive growth environment for interdisciplinary doctoral students;meanwhile, interdisciplinary doctoral students should learn to actively seek support from ex-ternal factors such as family when they encounter difficulties.
