In exploring the connotation and orientation of Kant's theory of free will from the perspec-tive of normativity,we not only avoid many difficulties and clarify the integration of free will and moral law,but also help to demonstrate the human dignity and value commitment within it comprehensive-ly.In this way ethical and rightful obligations can also be effectively defended.By establishing universal moral laws through free will or pure practical reason,Kant intends to express the ideal personality of equality and respect as well as the moral commitment of mutual responsibility. As a result, the space of social reason or community dimension of free will can be fully demonstrated.Based on the ideal picture of human beings constantly improving and tending towards peace, facts of reason and good moral en-dowments are constantly generated in social and historical condition, and the initiative and legitimacy of free will constitute the main signs of the future form of human civilization. These are also the ultimate end of the development of nature and human history.
