With the rapid development of metabolomics,the research of melon and fruit vegetables in the growth and development and environmental adaptation has been deepened.To more clearly understand the research progress of metabolomics in melon and fruit vegetables,this paper summarized the research techniques and contents of metabolomics,the research application of metabolomics,the correlation analysis between metabolomics and other omics,and prospected the development and application prospects of metabolomics.It lays a foundation for the development and application of metabolomics in the research of melon and fruit vegetables,and hopes to provide direction and guidance for accelerating the development of the industry.
