'Jinghu 42'is a new squash F1 hybrid bred for special disease resistant in greenhouse.It is developed by taking disease resistant inbred line'865'as female parent and'820'as male parent.It is of medium early maturing and has strong growth vigor.Its stem is thick and strong.It has strong continuous fruit setting ability under low temperature and weak light.It is resistant to powdery mildew,ZYMV,WMV,and PRSV.Its fruit is emerald green in color,medium long cylindrical shape and straight,with good commodity.It can yield about 180 t·hm-2.It is suitable for overwintering greenhouse planting in areas of North China,Northwest China,Huang-huai-hai,and Northeast China.
