Facility vegetable industry is a characteristic and advantageous industry of Hebei Province,playing an important role in ensuring the year-round supply of vegetables for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and promoting farmers'income increase.In recent years,Hebei Province has strengthened scientific and technological support,achieving rapid development of facility vegetables through technical measures such as breeding new varieties,soil remediation,water-saving production,and brand building.However,it still faces challenges such as severe product homogenization,low efficiency in production and marketing linkage,frequent natural disasters,and pest outbreaks.There is still a need to follow the laws of industrial development and market demand,using technological innovation as the driving force to promote the high-quality development of the facility vegetable industry.
