Relationship between Seed Hardness and Seed Vigor of Desert Plant Sophora alopecuroides and Swainsonia salsula
The study on oasis thermal environment is important for understanding of energy flow between oasis and desert and in inner oasis. We inverted land surface temperature and vegetation cover in the Yutian oasis using TM/ETM+ remote sensing images, and studied correlation between vegetation coverage and land surface temperature in different sub-regions in the Yutian oasis on the basis of two-dimensional scatter diagram of vegetation coverage and land surface temperature. The result shows there is a negative correlation between vegetation coverage and land surface temperature in the Yutian oasis, and the correlation coefficients range from -0.79158 to -0.48816. From 1991 to 2002, scatter diagram of land surface temperature and vegetation coverage in the Yutian oasis presented a change from concentration to dispersion, and it indicated that the relatively concentrated vegetation coverage pattern was broken up, and presented a fragmentation spatial pattern. From 1991 to 2002, scatter diagrams of land surface temperature and vegetation coverage in oasis-desert ecotones and desert around the Yutian oasis presented a change from dispersion to concentration, and it indicated that the desertification aggravated and vegetation coverage decreased in sub-regions around the Yutian oasis.
